Why We Built This Site
Kentucky offers several lawful routes to public criminal-record information, but no single Henderson County office holds the whole trail. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office keeps its own reports, with county contacts also published in the official address list. The Detention Center separately controls booking records. The Office of Circuit Court Clerk preserves District and Circuit Court cases, while the Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch maintains the state repository. Kentucky Online Offender Lookup and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry serve still different purposes. We organize the official contact details, fees, forms, and access limits around those real divisions.
What You Will Find Here
- Official check routes: how fingerprint checks use Kentucky State Police service codes and fee components, and how the separate AOC statewide court report uses form RU-004
- Record guides: how criminal court case records are found and read in Henderson County
- Agency contacts: where to reach the Circuit Clerk, Sheriff's Office, Detention Center, and state systems
- Record-clearing information: where Kentucky expungement certifications and petitions and the AOC form library fit
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no connection to a Kentucky court, law-enforcement office, corrections agency, or other government body. Those limits matter:
- We cannot issue a certified case file, criminal-history response, or other official record
- We cannot submit an open-records request or expungement petition for a visitor
- We cannot perform an official background check
- We cannot advise anyone about the effect of a charge, warrant, or court outcome
- We cannot promise that an agency's hours, address, fee, or process has not changed
An official record must come from its custodian, such as the Henderson Circuit Clerk, the creating police agency, the Detention Center, or Kentucky State Police.
Search Partners
Outside providers power some search boxes. Those providers control their own results, terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports site operations. We do not set the provider's charges, maintain its data, or decide which results it returns.
